Willy Wonka once opened a chocolate factory in New York, but hired only locals and paid them minimum wage. His selfish policies pissed off the trade union, who in turn threatened to burn down his factory.

As a desperate measure, he magically created a shield to protect his factory by transforming himself into a chocolate tree. Since then, the whereabouts of Willy Wonka was unknown.
